Vacation Care

 

The Midvale Hub provides Vacation Care programs during term breaks to assist families with care needs for primary school aged children (including Kindy and Pre-Primary students).

 

School Age Recreation and Activity Programs

Our Vacation Care team is made up of dedicated, professional Educators and Teachers who provide balanced programs including creative, sporting, recreational and educational activities. Excursions, incursions and special events are arranged to involve the children in new, fun and challenging holiday experiences.

 

Midvale Hub child care services have been rated and assessed as Exceeding National Quality Standard, so you can be confident that your child will receive high quality care and learning opportunities whilst attending Midvale Hub Vacation Care programs.

 

Vacation Care Locations

We provide Vacation Care at the following locations –
Midvale Early Childhood and Parenting Centre, Child and
Parent Centre – Swan (Middle Swan).

 

Our Curriculum – My Time, Our Place

During the four term breaks the Vacation Care program
provides school aged children with a home away from home.
A balanced program caters for the needs of individual children,
whilst establishing a strong sense of community in the group.
The children are active participants in the program planning to
ensure that the program is fun and meaningful to them.

 

All Midvale Hub Vacation Care programs are underpinned by
educational theory and contemporary research and follow the Framework
for School Age Care in Australia – My Time, Our Place which is part of the National Quality Framework.

 

Parent and Family Involvement

Parents, caregivers and family members are always welcome at Midvale Hub Vacation Care programs and we encourage active involvement wherever possible. Family input in the programming and planning is highly valued to link home to the program.
