We Facilitate Play and Learning Inside and Outside

Our Centre’s indoor environments are warm and welcoming and each room has an array of educational and creative materials and resources for play and learning opportunities suitable to the room’s age group.

Our nature-play outdoor environments provide the children with healthy challenges that build confidence, develop skills and promote inquiring minds.
Our safe and colourful playgrounds provide a range of outdoor experiences to stimulate the senses, foster a love of nature and develop strong healthy bodies.

Our Curriculum – Belonging, Being and Becoming

Throughout the cycle of the year a rich educational program supports the child’s emerging sense of self and develops a sense of belonging to place, to the child care centre, to the community and as a citizen of the world.

All Early Years’ programs are underpinned by educational theory and contemporary research and follow the Early Years Learning Framework – Belonging, Being and Becoming, which is part of the National Quality Framework for Early Education and Care Services.

Parent and Family Involvement

Parents, caregivers and family members are all welcome at the child care

centre and we encourage active involvement in the day to day program of

activities and learning experiences. Additionally, special events and

celebrations are wonderful opportunities for family members to be involved.

My experience (and still ongoing) of MECPC is that they have been so amazing from day 1. I don't even think I could make it a short statement to express how grateful I am for finding this facility. The staff in the rooms care and take the time to get to know and understand your child, they are not seen as just a number in a room. I appreciate that when I pick the kids up, the educators speak to me and explain how my child was for the day. The administration and management at the centre have always been approachable, understanding and proactive. It feels like you are dropping your child off with family, rather than strangers. I have also really loved the planning that takes place to the play setups and learning environments. It has a level of detail that engages and excites the children on a broad range of topics and celebrations.
