Outside School Hours Care

 

Before and After School Care at Midvale

The Midvale Hub provides Before and After School Care options to assist families with care needs for primary school aged children (including Kindy and Pre-Primary students). We deliver children to school in the morning and provide a pick-up service from a variety of schools at the end of the school day.

 

School age recreation and activity programs

Our OSHC team is made up of dedicated, professional Educators and Teachers who provide dynamic programs with a balanced mix of creative, sporting, recreational and educational activities. Homework and reading support is also provided.

 

Midvale Hub OSHC has been rated and assessed as Exceeding National Quality Standard, so you can be confident that your child will receive high quality care and learning opportunities whilst attending Midvale Hub OSHC programs.

 

Before and after school care locations

We provide Outside School Hours Care at Midvale Early Childhood and Parenting Centre.

 

Breakfast Clubs

Breakfast Clubs are provided at Before School Care to
ensure that each child has nutritious food to fuel learning
throughout the day.

 

Our Curriculum – My Time, Our Place

Throughout the four school terms the OSHC program
supports school aged children with a seamless transition
between school and care. A balance program caters for
the needs of individual children, whilst establishing a
strong sense of community in the group. The children are
active participants in the program planning and implementation.
We ensure that the ‘child’s voice’ is central to the program.

 

All OSHC programs are underpinned by educational theory
and contemporary research and follow the Framework for School Age Care in Australia – My Time, Our Place which is part of the National Quality Framework.

 

Parent and Family Involvement

Parents, caregivers and family members are all welcome at Midvale Hub OSHC programs and we encourage active involvement in the Before and After School program when possible. Family input in the programming and planning is highly valued to link home life to the OSHC program.
