Our Child Care Centres
The Midvale Hub has two community-based child care facilities that provide children and families with a safe to learn, play and grow:
At Midvale Early Childhood and Parenting Centre we offer a range of child care options for families with children aged 0 to 12 years of age. Our dedicated team of professional Early Childhood Educators and Teachers are qualified and experienced in supporting and enhancing development throughout each stage of childhood. Qualified Early Childhood Teachers run Kindergarten programs mapped to the National Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework which prepare children for the transition to formal schooling.
At Clayton View we specialise in the nurture and care of babies and toddlers. Our dedicated team of qualified Early Childhood Educators are trained to meet the specific developmental needs of very young children.
Midvale Hub child care services have been rated and assessed
as Exceeding National Quality Standard, so you can be
confident that your child will receive high quality care and
developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

We Work in Partnership with You
Families are integral to the child care centre. Our Educators
will work closely with you to ensure that your child’s growth
and development is nurtured. Together we will plan a rich
early learning program for your child, focussing on their
development and interests. A partnership approach ensures
that experiences at child care and at home work in harmony
to help your child thrive.

We Provide a Home Away from Home
Our established community based child care centre provides children
of all ages with a welcoming and safe place to be themselves. The children
engage in meaningful activities with their peers and caregivers, providing a
balance of stimulating and comforting learning opportunities.
We Facilitate Play and Learning Inside and Outside
At Midvale Early Childhood and Parenting Centre our Centre’s indoor environments are warm and welcoming and each room has an array of educational and creative materials and resources for play and learning opportunities suitable to the room’s age group. Our nature-play outdoor environments provide the children with healthy challenges that build confidence, develop skills and promote inquiring minds. Our safe and colourful playgrounds provide a range of outdoor experiences to stimulate the senses, foster a love of nature and develop strong healthy bodies.
At Clayton View the inside environment is warm and welcoming with an array of materials and resources for play and early learning opportunities. The outdoor environment is at the heart of the centre. It is a safe and colourful space which provides a range of outdoor experiences to stimulate the senses and develop strong healthy bodies.
Our Curriculum – Belonging, Being and Becoming
Throughout the cycle of the year a rich educational program supports the child’s emerging sense of self and develops a sense of belonging to place, to the child care centre, to the community and as a citizen of the world.
All Early Years’ programs are underpinned by educational theory and contemporary research and follow the Early Years Learning Framework – Belonging, Being and Becoming, which is part of the National Quality Framework for Early Education and Care Services.
Parent and Family Involvement
Parents, caregivers and family members are all welcome at the child care centre and we encourage active involvement in the day to day program of activities and learning experiences. Additionally, special events and celebrations are wonderful opportunities for family members to be involved.
